In Yesterday's India vs Australia match, the KL Rahul-led Men in Blue took a 1-0 lead in the three-match series by winning the match by five wickets at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali. KL Rahul hit a four on the third ball of the 49th over and followed it up with a six over long-off to seal the deal for India.

Earlier, Mohammed Shami picked his second ODI five-wicket haul as Australia were bundled out for 276 in 50 overs after being asked to bat first. The likes of David Warner (52), Steve Smith (41), Marnus Labuschagne (39), Josh Inglis (45) and Marcus Stoinis (29) got starts but failed to convert them into big scores. Jasprit Bumrah (1/43), Ravichandran Ashwin (1/47) and Ravindra Jadeja (1/51) picked one wicket apiece.
