The turning point of the match came in the 12th over when Yuzvendra Chahal dismissed Nicholas Pooran, who was anchoring LSG’s innings with a fluent 44. Pooran had already struck five fours and two sixes and looked set to accelerate further.
His wicket halted LSG’s momentum, preventing them from posting a more challenging total. With Pooran gone, Punjab Kings tightened their grip on the match, restricting LSG to 171.
