Pant remained unbeaten on 118 off 61 balls, stitching a 152-run partnership with Mitchell Marsh, who scored a rapid 67 off 37 deliveries. The pair dominated the RCB bowling unit, setting the stage for a massive total.
In reply, RCB’s chase was anchored by Virat Kohli, who scored 54 off 30 balls. Despite losing wickets in the middle, RCB found their heroes in Jitesh Sharma and Mayank Agarwal. The duo stitched together a match-winning 107-run stand, with Sharma remaining unbeaten on 85 off just 33 balls and Agarwal contributing 41* off 23 balls. RCB reached the target with eight balls to spare, finishing at 230/4 in 18.4 overs. This marked RCB’s highest successful chase in IPL history and the third-highest ever in the tournament.
