In yesterday's cricket affair, it was New Zealand who took on England in the 3rd ODI of the four-match series. The match was played at Kennington Oval in London and England won the match by a whopping 181 runs.
Batting first, England showed another brilliant demonstration of their willow work and amassed 368 runs. Ben Stokes, who recently came out of retirement, played a sublime knock of 182 off just 124 balls, hitting 15 fours and 9 sixes in it. Dawid Malan also played brilliantly but fell four short of his century. Trent Boult picked up 5 wickets for the Kiwis.

In reply, New Zealand never found any momentum and kept on losing wickets in regular intervals. A late resurgence from Glenn Phillips (72 off 76) took their score to a respectable mark but the visitors were bowled out for just 187 runs.

England's Ben Stokes was the highest scorer of the match. The former England captain scored 182 runs off just 124 balls.
New Zealand pacer Trent Boult picked up 5 wickets in the match and was the highest wicket-taking bowler. His figures of 5/51 was excellent but it ended of in a losing cause.
