Why did Akash Deep not Invite Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma in his Wedding? India pacer gives Hilarious Reply
Indian fast bowler Akash Deep recently started a beautiful new chapter in his personal life, tying the knot with Akshita Raj in a traditional and vibrant wedding ceremony in Varanasi. The speedster took to social media to share glimpses of his special day, leaving fans pouring in with warm wishes. However, amid the stunning wedding pictures and celebration videos, one particular clip has taken the internet by storm.
In the viral video, Akash Deep can be seen tackling a rather curious question from a guest regarding the absence of Indian cricket's biggest superstars Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and MS Dhoni. His witty and highly practical response is winning hearts all over social media.

The Viral Question: Where are the "Big Three"?
When a prominent Indian cricketer gets married, fans naturally expect a star-studded guest list featuring the biggest names in the sport. During the wedding festivities, one guest couldn't help but ask the obvious question that was on everyone's mind.
In a light-hearted exchange captured on camera, the guest asked the groom, "Bhaiya, aapne Virat Kohli Bhaiya, Dhoni Bhaiya aur Rohit Bhaiya ko apni shaadi mein kyun nahi bulaya?" (Brother, why didn't you invite Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, and Rohit Sharma to your wedding?).
Without missing a beat, Akash Deep responded with a massive smile and a heavy dose of desi humour.
"Shaadi ho paayega yahan Banaras mein?" (Will the marriage even take place here in Banaras?), the pacer jokingly replied.
His answer perfectly summed up the reality of cricket fandom in India. Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and MS Dhoni boast an unparalleled, god-like following across the country. Had the legendary trio shown up in the bustling city of Varanasi, the sheer volume of fans swarming the venue would have made it nearly impossible to conduct the traditional wedding rituals peacefully. Managing the massive crowds and security for such high-profile guests would have completely overshadowed the intimate family affair.
While Akash is enjoying his well-deserved time off the field, fans are eagerly waiting for his return to action. The right-arm pacer has represented India in 10 Test matches, picking up 28 wickets, with his career-best match figures being a spectacular 10 for 112.
Unfortunately, injuries have recently hindered his momentum. Akash was signed by the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for the IPL 2026 but was forced to miss the entire season due to a lower-back stress injury.
