Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, affectionately known as the Badshah of Bollywood, made a remarkable appearance at the IPL 2024 finale between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Chennai.

Shah Rukh Khan was hospitalised for Heat Stroke

Earlier last week, Shah Rukh Khan was hospitalised in Ahmedabad after suffering from heat stroke and dehydration. This incident occurred just a day after his team, KKR, advanced to the IPL 2024 finals. KKR co-owner and close friend Juhi Chawla reassured fans, stating that Shah Rukh was feeling better and would likely be present to support his team during the finals.

Arrival at the Stadium

SRK was seen arriving at a private airport in Mumbai, making efforts to avoid the paparazzi by using an umbrella and wearing fully covered clothes. His commitment to attend the IPL finale, despite his health scare, showcased his dedication to KKR.

In the Stands with Family

At the stadium, Shah Rukh Khan was accompanied by his family—daughter Suhana Khan, sons Aryan and AbRam, and wife Gauri Khan. Manager and constant support, Pooja Dadlani, was also present. Suhana’s best friends, Ananya Panday and Shanaya Kapoor, joined them in rooting for KKR.

Shah Rukh Khan wore a mask during the match, indicating his recent recovery from heat stroke. He also had a round, spot band aid plaster on his right hand, likely from an Intravenous Cannula. This precautionary measure highlighted his commitment to safety while supporting his team.

Juhi Chawla, co-owner of KKR, had earlier shared exclusive insights with News18 about Shah Rukh's recovery. She expressed optimism about his presence at the finals, which was a source of encouragement for fans and the team alike.

Fans eagerly anticipated a KKR victory, hoping to see Shah Rukh take another iconic victory lap. Following a significant win in the playoffs, SRK celebrated with his daughter Suhana and youngest son AbRam, striking his famous pose for the stadium fans and embracing his team players. Known for his encouraging nature, he also chatted with Sunrisers Hyderabad players after the match.
