WI vs BAN 3rd T20I: Jaker Ali starred as Bangladesh completed a historic series white-wash against the West Indies following an 80-run victory in the third and final T20I on Friday (December 20) at the Arnos Vale Ground, Kingstown, St Vincent.
After Jaker Ali smashed 72 off 41 balls to take Bangladesh to a commanding total of 189/7 in their allotted 20 overs, an all-round bowling effort topped by Rishad Hossain's figures of 3 for 21 bundled out the West Indies for 109.

Chasing 190, West Indies, who were playing for pride, faltered right from the first over as Branon King fell for a second-ball duck, while Justin Greaves soon followed in the next over. The dangerous Nicholas Pooran also departed inside the powerplay.
Johnson Charles (22 off 18 balls) and Romario Shepherd (33 off 27 balls) were the only two batters who made tellable contributions for the hosts as Bangladesh struck in regular intervals to reduce West Indies to half the side with just 46 runs on the board.
For Bangladesh, Rishad Hossain was the top wicket-taker, while pacer Taskin Ahmed and spin all-rounder Mahedi Hasan, who picked up the player of the series award, also chipped in with two wickets each. Plus, pace duo Hasan Mahmud and Tanzim Hasan Sakib claim a wicket-a-piece.
Earlier, opting to bat first, skipper Litton Kumer Das (14 off 10 balls) and Parvez Hossain Emon (39 off 21 balls) had provided a decent start for Bangladesh as Mahedi Hasan also made 29 from 23 balls to add to the total.
In the end, Jaker Ali, who ended the innings unbeaten with 6 sixes, shared a 50-run stand off 25 balls with Tanzim Hasan Sakib (17 off 11 balls) to take Bangladesh to a challenging total of 189. Jaker Ali was named player of the match for his knock.
With this, Bangladesh's tour to West Indies came to an end. The visitors drew level in the Test series before falling to a 0-3 white-wash in the ODI series, but bounced back in style by beating the fourth-ranked side 3-0 in the T20I series.
