Keacy Carty and Brandon King smashed centuries as West Indies registered a series-clinching eight-wicket victory over England in the third and final ODI at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados on Wednesday (November 6).
Chasing 264, King and Carty shared a second-wicket stand of 209 with the duo making light of what could have been a daunting task following the early loss of Evin Lewis.

While King fell for 102 with victory in sight, Carty finished off the job alongside skipper Shai Hope (5*) as the number three batter reached an unbeaten 128 after hitting the winning boundary as West Indies coasted home on 267 for two with seven overs to spare.
Carty's maiden ODI century spanned 114 balls and was highlighted by 15 fours and two sixes. King stroked 13 fours and one six off 117 balls. Carty also became the first batter from Sint Maarten to score a hundred for the West Indies.
For England, spearhead Jofra Archer finished wicket-less and was on the expensive side, conceding 54 in 9 overs. Jamie Overton and Reece Topley were the only wicket-takers for the visitors, who lost their third ODI series since the disappointing outing in 2023 ODI World Cup.
Earlier, put into bat, England lost four wickets in a hurry as Matthew Forde, Alzarri Joseph and Romario Shepherd struck in regular intervals, but opener Phil Salt forged fighting stands with Sam Curran and Dan Mousely to take the team to a challenging total.
Curran contributed 40 while Mousley stroked his way to 57 in successive 70-run partnerships with Salt, who scored 74. Archer played a handy knock with the bat, scoring an unbeaten 38 off 17 balls in the closing stages.
A mid-spell injury to the hosts' Shepherd provided England with a further boost, with Sherfane Rutherford forced to come into the bowling attack. England plundered 57 runs off Rutherford's 3.5 overs, with Archer smashing three sixes, doing the damage.
The two sides will now clash in a five-match T20I series, starting with the opener at Barbados' Kensington Oval on Saturday (November 9), when England's white-ball captain Jos Buttler is in line for a potential return from injury.
