WI-W vs IR-W Dream11 prediction Women's T20 World Cup West Indies and Ireland will compete in Group B of the Women's T20 World Cup at Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town on Friday (February 17). The match will start at 10:30 PM IST.

Both teams are languishing at the bottom of the table with consecutive defeats in their respective opening two games. West Indies lost to the two group toppers England and India while Ireland suffered heavy defeats to England and Pakistan.

West Indies also saw their in-form batter Stafanie Taylor get injured while fielding and is uncertain for the game as an update on her condition is expected ahead of the game. Her partner Hayley Matthews also injured her shoulder in the same game, adding to West Indies' worries.

However, Windies coach Courtney Walsh said that both players are recovering well and should be fit for the game.

Matthews in particular could be a big loss as prior to the India match, Matthews played five 30-odd runs innings, including a half-century, in six innings in the format.
Experienced Shemaine Campbell, a dependable No. 3 for the side, scored 30 in the last innings, which adds to her consistency but has failed to convert those knocks into bigger scores.

All-rounder Chinelle Henry is another smart pick as she is good at playing in the slog overs and has been picking wickets as well. Spinner Karishma Ramharack continued with her good form as the off-spinner took two wickets against India to take her tally to five wickets in the last three games.

Afy Fletcher failed to pick wickets in her last game but entered the tournament in form and took a wicket against England as well before a couple of wickets in the warm-up against Sri Lanka.

Ireland women injury updates, key players vs West Indies women
No injury has been reported leading into the match for Ireland but they have worries in plenty with two morale-sapping losses after stunning Australia in warm-ups.

Ireland opener Gaby Lewis, who found form before heading into the World Cup, succumbed under the pressure of a good chase and so did her partner Amy Hunter, whose form of late hasn't been the best.

Orla Prendergast, who has been consistently playing 25-run odd innings, fought with a 21-ball 31 and adds some confidence in the Irish top-order. She, however, failed to pick a wicket in the match but her bowling spell wasn't that bad either with 20 runs in three overs from the new ball.

Skipper Laura Delany's decent form is turning for the worse and has been one of the key reasons behind Ireland's middle-order failure. Fellow middle-order batter Eimear Richardson, on the other hand, found some form with a 17-ball 28 cameo and could be batting again given the way the Irish top-order has been misfiring.

There has been inconsistency in the bowling as well with Cara Murray, who picked 3/15 against Australia, struggling against Pakistan batters, who were at comfort with their feet movement against the wrist-spinner. West Indies batter might not enjoy a similar dominance against Murray.

Arlene Kelly, on the other hand, found form with two wickets, taking her tally of wickets to four wickets in the last three games in South Africa.
