Will Ganguly lose captaincy of KKR?

Kolkata, Mar 23: Just after a day Rahul Dravid was sacked as Royal Challengers captain, reports suggest that Kolkata Knight Riders captain Sourav Ganguly may also face the same. Ganguly may lose the captaincy of Kolkata Knight Riders.

What came as a surprise was the announcement by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) who said that they were still discussing the issue of captaincy. This definitely points uncertainty towards Sourav Ganguly continuing as the leader of the team in the IPL Season 2.

KKR cricket manager John Buchanan told media persons that they were still discussing about the team skipper for high-profile event.

"We are deciding about it. We are still having discussion on the issue," Buchanan said in reply to a query as Kolkata franchise announced a 28-member squad for the second edition of the Twenty20 extravaganza.

Buchanan's comments hints that Sourav Ganguly can be replaced. Reason:Ganguly's average performance in the last season of IPL.
