England all-rounder Will Jacks is currently one of the promising players in the shortest format of the game, but is yet to make his debut for Royal Challengers Bengaluru in IPL.
The inevitable maiden IPL appearance may happen in the ongoing IPL 2024. Jacks was bought by RCB during the 2023 auction for Rs 3.20 Crore, but was forced to miss the season due to a muscular injury.

The English player, who was born in Chertsey, Surrey on 21 November 1998, has represented his hometown side Surrey since 2018 and made his senior international debut in 2022 September for the T20I side followed by call ups to the ODI and Test sides.
Known for his explosive batting with an added ability to bowl some off-breaks, the 25-year-old Jacks has had stints across T20 Leagues like Big Bash Leage, SA20, Bangladesh Premier League and Pakistan Super League as well as the Hundred league in England over the years.
The 25-year-old from Sussex announced his arrival in 2019 during a pre-season T10 fixture against Lancashire with a 25-ball hundred, the fastest known in a match between professional teams. That knock also included 6 sixes in a over.
Jacks has continued with his big-hitting displays since and is a danger whether opening the batting or coming in later. Jacks has smashed 3 centuries in his T20 career so far.
His first century came during The Hundred 2022 season when he scored an unbeaten 108 for Oval Invincibles against Southern Brave. That knock, which included 8 sixes, was the highest individual score of the season.
Since returning from a injury lay-off, Jacks has been in great form, scoring a 41-ball century for Pretoria Capitals in the SA20 and then within a month added another quickfire ton in Bangladesh Premier League for Comilla Victorians against Chattogram Challengers.
Overall in T20 cricket, he has scored over 4000 runs in 149 innings at a strike rate of 158.66. According to CricInfo, he has one of the best powerplay strike rates - 164.21 among batters who have faced a minimum of 1000 balls.
He also has strike rate of 146 in the middle overs, which could see RCB using him either in the opener's slot or at number three. Here is a look at his stats and records in T20 format:
