New Delhi, Dec 10: N Srinivasan, Indian cricket board's sidelined chief, Wednesday told the Supreme Court thatif he is re-elected, he would stay away from IPL governing council till a proposed committee decides on the question of conflict of interest involving him and his IPL franchisee Chennai Super Kings.
Responding to a poser from the court Tuesday, senior counsel Kapil Sibal told the bench of Justice TS Thakur and Justice FMI Kalifulla that Srinivasan would stay away from IPL governing council and its activities and also from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) meetings related to IPL.
