Sam Curran st Shai Hope b Roston Chase 17 (25)

OUT! Stumped. Roston Chase to Sam Curran. Off break length ball, down leg side down the track working, Play and Miss (Leg Side) to wicketkeeper, by Hope. Chase spots Curran on the charge so fires this down leg, leaving the young left-hander stranded. Hope keeps his cool to whip the bails off and spark wild celebrations in Bridgetown. Chase finishes with eight wickets and Windies go 1-0 up in the three match series. What a sensational few days for Jason Holder's men this has been.

West Indies have annihilated England by the massive margin of 381 runs in Bridgetown to take an early lead in the series. The tourists were left staring down the barrel after being set an impossible 628 for victory, but started brightly this morning thanks to an eye-catching Rory Burns half century. His dismissal on the brink of lunch saw the momentum shift as Roston Chase pick up the first of an amazing eight wickets at the Kensington Oval. The offspinner didn't turn the ball a long way but mainly deceived the English batsmen with deliveries that went straight on with some extra bounce. He aptly finished off the match by taking his 50th Test wicket on his home ground. Joe Root will reflect on an yet another awful day for his batsmen as loose strokes gifted the hosts wickets again and again. There are only a few days until the Second Test in Antigua with plenty for the tourists to work on. Jason Holder scoops the player of the match award for his emphatic double century, he has a massive smile on his face as he soaks in the moment. Every single member of his team has delivered at some point over the past four days in a perfect Test match for the Windies.

APPEAL! Verified by umpire after REFERRAL. John Campbell to James Anderson. Off break half volley, off stump on the front foot reverse sweeping, hit pad to second slip for no runs, fielded by Holder, appeal made for Caught. Lots going on here as Holder asks for a review. Anderson was looking for an ambitious reverse sweep and the ball ends up in the hands of Holder who is appealing for both a catch and an LBW. In the end Anderson survives, but only just.

FOUR! John Campbell to James Anderson. Off break length ball, off stump on the front foot slog sweeping, well timed in the air under control past deep mid wicket for 4 runs. Anderson wants to have some fun. He hasn't done much wrong in this Test so you can't blame him. He's not a great batsman but he plays a mighty fine sweep.

Adil Rashid c Kraigg Brathwaite b Roston Chase 1 (6)

OUT! Caught. Roston Chase to Adil Rashid. Off break length ball, middle stump on the front foot slog sweeping, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled to deep mid wicket, by Brathwaite. Chase has seven, these are incredible scenes in Bridgetown. Rashid decides his only option is to attack so he swipes with the spin but there is a man positioned in the deep for exactly this. Brathwaite has to skip over the rope after throwing the ball up, before coming back into the field of play to complete the catch. He made it look simple but it certainly wasn't. Windies are charging towards victory with style.
