'Chalo Karte Hain' - India new boys hint 'Naya Cheez' ahead of West Indies Test series?

Amid the ongoing preparations for the West Indies Test series, the Indian team is looking forward to giving opportunities to youngsters.

As a matter of fact, youngsters Ruturaj Gaikwad and Yashasvi Jaiswal were picked for the tour and they will be hoping for their debut during the series.

Although it will be a huge call to integrate either of them into the starting lineup, the duo seems to be enjoying themselves in the Caribbeans.

In a video, the two Indian new boys were seen speaking about 'Naya Cheez' (New thing) and they used words such as 'Chalo karte hain' (let's do this) - in the past, especially the second phrase has garnered controversy in Indian cricket.

Then what are these India players up to? Are they into a new mischief during the Island tour or they are simply meaning something legitimate?

Well, it turns out Ruturaj Gaikwad and Yashasvi Jaiswal are making their debut into something else. It is unsure whether either of them will get an opportunity to play in this series, but they won't just be sitting around as it seems.

BCCI Podcast

In a video released by BCCI, Gaikwad and Jaiswal announced that the duo will be part of the first episode of BCCI Podcast which is set to be launched soon on BCCI's website. The name of the podcast is 'Caribbean Tales'.

Podcasts are generally discussions about a particular thing and anecdotes, and we may see a whole new side of Indian cricket soon.

In the video, Gaikwad and Jaiswal can be spotted in the backdrop of a typical Caribbean beach and mountain, where they are having a chat.

In the video, Gaikwad was seen saying, "Sun an Yashasvi, hum dono bhi naaye hain, humare liye ye naazara bhi naye hain. Aur ek cheez nayi hain. BCCI podcast aa raha hain. Karte hain kya?" (Hey Yashasvi, we both are new, and even the view for us is new. Another new thing is new, which is BCCI Podcast. How about we take part in that?)

The duo then revealed they will be in the first episode of the BCCI podcast. Gaikwad also said that they will 'rock it'.

It is to be seen when the first episode of the podcast is released but we are expecting BCCI will launch their new programme before the start of the 1st Test. The first match starts on Wednesday (July 12) in Dominica.
