The Women's Asia Cup 2024 is scheduled to get underway with the group stage from Friday (July 19) as eight teams will battle it out in T20 format for the title with 15 matches set to be staged across 8 days in one venue in Sri Lanka.
The eight teams - India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, UAE, Malaysia and Thailand - will be divided into two groups of four with the top two at the end of the single round-robin stage heading into the knockouts.

The knockouts will consist of the two semifinals followed by the final. The group phase ends on July 24, while the knockout stage starts after a day's break on July 26 with the final set to take place on July 28.
Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla, Sri Lanka will stage all the matches with the entry being free at the venue for all the matches. Fans, who can't get to the stadium for the games can watch all the action from the comforts of their homes or on the go.

The ninth edition of Women's Asia Cup will start on July 19 and end with the final on July 28. As the time difference in Asian continent is not huge, the games will take place on the same day as the host, but the timings will vary a little.
There are two different start times with the earliest start being 2 PM Local Time (8:30 AM GMT / 1:30 PM Pakistan Time & 2:30 PM Bangladesh Time), followed by a second start time of 7 PM Local Time (1:30 PM GMT / 6:30 PM Pakistan Time & 7:30 PM Bangladesh Time).
