The ninth edition of the Women's Asia Cup will be held at a single venue - Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla, Sri Lanka from July 19 to July 28.
The Women's Asia Cup 2024 will be staged in T20 format and will provide the Asian sides a good platform to prepare for the upcoming T20 World Cup in Bangladesh. The tournament will see eight teams do battle for the title, starting with the group stage.

In the group stage, eight teams divided into two groups of four will face each other from their respective groups - Group A and Group B - and the top two teams from both the groups at the end of the single round-robin matches will progress to the knockouts - semifinals and final.
As for the groupings, defending and record champions India will be in Group A that also includes arch-rivals Pakistan as well as Nepal and UAE, while Group B consists of hosts Sri Lanka along with Bangladesh, Malaysia and Thailand. Here is a look at the groups:
