The ninth edition of the Women's Asia Cup is scheduled to be held in Dambulla, Sri Lanka from July 19 to 28 with eight teams set to do battle for the title in the T20 tournament, organized by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC).
The eight teams will be divided into two groups of four teams each in the first round, where each team will face the remaining teams of their respective groups in single round-robin format with the group winner and runner up progressing to the semi-final.

While the group stage will be held from July 19 to 24, the two semi-finals will be held on July 26 two days prior to the final which will be held on July 28. A total of 15 matches will all be staged at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla.
As for the groups, defending champions India have been drawn alongside arch-rivals Pakistan as well as Nepal and UAE in Group A, while Group B will consist of 2018 champions Bangladesh along with Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Thailand.
The four full members of the ACC - Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka - qualified automatically, while Malaysia, Nepal, UAE and Thailand qualified as the four semi-finalists from the Women's Premier Cup.
With the tournament start date getting closer, teams have all announced their squads. India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, UAE, Malaysia, Thailand and Nepal have all revealed their players list for the Women's Asia Cup 2024.
