County Cricket Ground in Northampton, England is all set for World Championship of Legends action, starting with a much-anticipated match between India Champions and Australia Champions on Monday (July 8).
Yuvraj Singh-led India Champions side come into the match on the back of two wins and one defeat in the most recent outing, while Brett Lee’s Australia Champions also head into match on a similar record, having won two in a row following an opening game loss.

Indian champions, who opened their campaign with convincing wins over England and West Indies, suffered a 68-run loss to Pakistan in the last encounter after failing to chase down 244 against their arch-rivals.
Australia champions, on the other hand, started the tournament with a defeat to Pakistan, but bounced back with a win over South Africa before a thumping win over their Ashes rivals England.
While there is much excitement among players and fans for the India vs Australia match, there is also concern about weather after rain has affected games, causing delays or abandonment like in India's meeting with West Indies in Birmingham.
Although it’s summer in the United Kingdom, there has always been rain in the region, and could be concern for cricket fans. However, fans will hope for a full match on Monday (July 8) with a win pushing a team closer to semi-final qualification.
It has been cloudy in Northampton since the morning, but weather aggregators predict rain to arrive in the evening, hinting that we could be in for a start-stop contest with a full 20-over per side match also looking slightly impossible.
But the English weather can be unpredictable at times. So, we will have wait and see if the weather holds good during the playing hours from 4:30 PM Local Time to possibly 9:30 PM Local Time
As per BBC weather, there is 40 percent chance of rain at the match start time (4:30 PM Local Time / 9 PM IST) and is expected to remain like that for the next few hours before it increases to 80 percent chance of rain in the night. So, rain is likely to play spoilsport in Northampton.
