The first edition of the World Championship of Legends - WCL 1 got under way on Wednesday (July 3) at the Edbgaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham, where the first ten matches as well as the final will be held on July 13.
Some of the stars of yesteryear like Yuvraj Singh, Kevin Pietersen, Shahid Afridi, Chris Gayle, Aaron Finch and Jaques Kallis will look to inspire their respective teams over the next two weeks in Birmingham and Northampton.

The 6-team T20 tournament will feature - India Champions, Pakistan Champions, Australia Champions, England Champions, West Indies Champions and South Africa Champions. The 6 teams will face each other in single round-robin contests to decide the top four.
After the league phase ends on July 10, the top four on the WCL points table will progress to the knockouts, the semi-final followed by the final. Here is a look at the points table:
