New Delhi, May 31: Cricket fans are in for a spectacular treat as India's cricket legends, including the dynamic Yuvraj Singh, the legendary Harbhajan Singh, and the energetic Suresh Raina, prepare to showcase their champion skills.
The India Champions team is set to compete in the inaugural World Championship of Legends (WCL), scheduled to take place in the United Kingdom this July.

The World Championship of Legends promises to be a premier stage for cricket legends, supported by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). This endorsement ensures the league's credibility and prestige, providing a platform for retired cricketers to continue their passion for the sport in a highly competitive environment.
The 15-member India Champions squad and their official jersey were unveiled on Friday in New Delhi, in the presence of Indian cricket stars-2007 World T20 champions and 2011 World Cup winner Suresh Raina, RP Singh, and Rahul Sharma.
Also present at the jersey launch were the owners of India Champions-Salman Ahmed, Sumant Bahl, and Jaspal Bahra, who are prominent business figures in the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, and Qatar. Joining them were Harshit Tomar and Nishant Pitti, promoters of the World Championship of Legends.
Expressing their excitement at launching the Indian team and participating in the inaugural league, the India Champions team owners said, "We are immensely proud to own this team and embark on this extraordinary journey with our champion cricketing icons. India Champions are geared up to set Edgbaston, Birmingham, and Northamptonshire on fire against other top international stars and the team promoters believe that the platform will provide many more senior cricketers a chance to showcase their skills in the second innings of their careers.

The World Championship of Legends aims to invoke the nostalgia of past clashes between top international teams like England, India, Pakistan, Australia, West Indies, and South Africa, and the League featuring big names like Bret Lee, Chris Gayle, Kevin Pietersen, Shahid Afridi and Jacques Kallis among others will ensure the summers come early in England.
