Auckland, March 24: New Zealand's left-handed seamer Trent Boult on Tuesday became New Zealand's highest wicket-taker in a single edition of the cricket World Cup. His second wicket against South Africa in the first semi-final of the ICC World Cup 2015 at the Eden park here took him past his compatriot Geoff Allott who had taken 20 wickets in the 1999 edition in England.

Boult has taken 21 wickets in this World Cup as the semifinal match was on. He has also bowled 14 maiden overs in this edition.
