Donald, who played in four World Cups between 1992 and 2003 and had a horrible mix-up with Lance Klusener in the final over against Australia in the 1999 semi-final, said the feeling of not winning the title even once is disappointing but that they are waiting patiently for something to happen this time.

Donald, who has 330 Test wickets and 272 one-day wickets in his kitty, had retired after the 2003 World Cup in which South Africa were the main hosts but could not qualify for the Super Six stage.

Speaking about the high-voltage India-South Africa encounter in the World Cup this Sunday, the legendary fast bowler said a massive support for India will be present at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on the day and the South Africans will have to adjust to the intimidating MCG, the AFP report added.

Both India and South Africa have won their opening matches of this World Cup. While India defeated arch-rivals Pakistan by 76 runs at Adelaide Oval, the Proteas beat Zimbabwe by 62 runs at Hamilton. Whoever win the match between India and South Africa will be favourites to top Group B and avoid Australia and New Zealand in the quarter-finals.

South Africa have beaten India in all the three World Cup encounters between them so far.
