World Cup 2015: List of hit wickets in WC, Kenya's Maurice Odumbe did it twice against WI

Bengaluru, Feb 19: Zimbabwean batsman Regis Chakabva became the eighth player in the history of the cricket World Cup to get dismissed after hitting his own wicket.

  • Roy Fredricks (West Indies) against Australia at Lord's in 1975 at the score of 7
  • Franklin Dennis (Canada) against England at Old Trafford in 1979 at the score of 21
  • Maurice Odumbe (Kenya) against West Indies at Pune in 1996 at the score of 6
  • Garry Kirsten (SA) against West Indies at Karachi in 1996 at the score of 3
  • Joe Harris (Canada) against Sri Lanka at Paarl in 2003 at the score of 9
  • Maurice Odumbe (Kenya) against West Indies at Kimberly in 2003 at the score of 0
  • Vusi Sibanda (Zimbabwe) against Ireland at Kingston in 2007 at the score of 67
