World Cup 2023: Aakash Chopra brutally trolls Pakistan amid hapless bowling against Australia

Former Indian cricketer and expert Aakash Chopra has brutally trolled Pakistan on social media amid Pakistan's match against Australia today (October 20).

Pakistan are taking on Australia in Bangalore, and they have made a dismal start with the ball. Pakistan haven't been able to pick up a wicket yet, as Australia are marching along towards a mammoth score.

Both David Warner and Mitchell Marsh are unbeaten at the crease as the Aussies are on 245 for no loss after just thirty three overs. It is going towards a huge score for Australia and Pakistan are in desperate need of a wicket.

Amid this desperate conditions, former India player Aakash Chopra has brutally trolled Pakistan on social media. Taking his X profile, Chopra tweeted about playing 'Dil Dil Pakistan' in Bengaluru to cheer the Pakistani side so that they can get a wicket.

"Koi DJ ko keh kar 'Dil Dil Pakistan' bajwa do at The Chinnaswamy. Pakistan desperately needs a wicket. It's a flat track alright but this is fast moving towards 375+ score," Chopra tweeted from his profile.

He has pleaded the DJ in Bengaluru to play the Dil Dil Pakistan song, which is used as an inspirational anthem for Babar Azam and co.

It also has an underneath jibe to Mickey Arthur, who recently said about lack of Dil Dil Pakistan at the Ahmedabad Stadium when India beat the arch rivals. Arthur said it looked like more of a BCCI tournament and blamed the stadium for not playing 'Dil Dil Pakistan'.

Pakistan have themselves to blame in this match against Australia, as Usama Mir missed a sitter to dismiss David Warner. The left handed Australian batter is currently batting on 124 off just 95 balls, and has dismantled the Pakistan attack.

It is to be seen how the Pakistani bowlers conjure something up in the latter overs to give them a competitive target, otherwise it can be a mauling by Australia yet again in a World Cup match for them.
