World Cup 2023: Full List of Commentators in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali and other Indian Languages

The ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 is around the corner. The official curtain raiser is on October 5, but the dress rehearsals have started on Friday (Sep 29) with the World Cup 2023 warm-up matches.

As the 50-over spectacle looks set to enthrall the length and breadth of India, there will be a few stars of the past, whose voices behind the screen will reflect the proceedings on the pitch.

There will be some iconic voices coupled with some new faces, who are ready to take centre stage with their mic and depict the story on the field, the Commentators. ICC has announced the star-studded lineup of commentators for the World Cup 2023.

World Cup 2023: English Commentators

ICC has named the star-studded team of commentators who are set to cover the World Cup for the next one and a half months.

Former India players Sunil Gavaskar, Ravi Shastri are there, while Pakistan's Waqar Younis and Ramiz Raja are also in the panel. Former England captain Nasser Hussain is in the mix, while women cricketers such as Anjum Chopra, Lisa Sthalekar will also be a part of the commentary squad.

These commentators can juggle between different languages. Irfan Pathan can work both as in Gujarati and Hindi commentary. Likewise, some of the foreign players can be part of a much more deep analytical commentary team, like the Dug Out in the IPL.
