Australia all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has been caught smoking e-cigarette in the dressing room during Australia's match against South Africa in the ICC World Cup 2023 on Thursday (October 12).
Australia suffered their second consecutive defeat in the World Cup against South Africa at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. And amid their dismal performance, controversy has erupted as one of their stars were seen vaping an e-cigarette at the dressing room.

Maxwell had a mixed day at the office. The 34-year-old picked up 2 wickets with the ball and was by far Australia's best bowler. But the swashbuckler had contrasting fortunes with the bat. He scored only 3 runs off 17 balls and was dismissed by Keshav Maharaj.
And after losing his wicket, Maxwell was captured smoking an e cigarette at the stadium dressing room. Australia suffered a huge loss by 134 runs and now languishing in the 9th position of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 Points Table.
