This sets a new standard as it is the highest number of concurrent viewers across all cricket formats, surpassing the previous 35 million viewers record set in the same tournament during the India Vs Pakistan match.
Furthermore, the engaging match between India and New Zealand also surpassed the previous 25 million viewers count during their encounter at the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2019 semi-finals.
