World Cup 2023: England captain Jos Buttler has picked his dream five-a-side ODI team and left out India batting star Virat Kohli from it. The star wicketkeeper-batter has also just picked one player from his own team.
Jos Buttler is currently in India and is gearing to lead England's World Cup 2023 squad. The defending champions will be playing the opening match of the tournament against New Zealand on October 5 at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

Buttler's England team is full of white-ball superstars but he has picked just Adil Rashid in the 5-member squad. The likes of Jonny Bairstow, Sam Curran, Dawid Malan, Ben Stokes and Moeen Ali have been left out.
The English captain ignored batting superstar Virat Kohli and instead picked India captain Rohit Sharma in his star-studded squad. Rohit Sharma recently completed his 10,000 runs in ODI cricket, while Virat Kohli crossed the 13000-run landmark.
Further making into Jos Buttler's dream ODI team are South Africa wicketkeeper-batter Quinton de Kock and express pacer Anrich Nortje. De Kock is set to retire from ODI cricket after the World Cup 2023. Nortje has been ruled out of the ICC marquee event due to an injury.
Glenn Maxwell is the final member of Buttler's dream ODI team. The Australian all-rounder is known for his handy off-spin bowling and aggressive batting which helps in giving strong finishes. In the 3-match ODI series against Australia, Maxwell picked four wickets for 40 runs in the third match in Rajkot.
