World Cup 2023: Pakistani actress promises 'Dinner Date' in Dhaka if Bangladesh beat India

Pakistan have suffered a dismal defeat at the hands of India in the ICC World Cup 2023. It was their 8th straight defeat in the hands of India in the World Cup.

And after the defeat, a Pakistani actress has banked her hopes on Bangladesh to take care of what they couldn't do.

Pakistani actress Sehar Shinwari desperately wants Bangladesh to beat India in the World Cup as the Tigers are taking on Men in Blue in Pune on Thursday. Shinwari even took to X, formerly known as Twitter, and promised to go on a Dinner Date in Dhaka if the Bangladesh team beats India.

She took to X and wrote she will go on a date with a 'Bangali Boy' and have fish in Dhaka.

"InshAllah my Bangali Bandu will avenge us in the next match. I will go to dhaka and have a fish dinner date with Bangali boy if their team managed to beat India," Shinwari wrote on her X profile.

Bengali people are fond of Fishes irrespective of the geography. And in Dhaka, the abundance of the Hilsa fish of Padma river is a flagship cuisine which the Bengalis indulge themselves into.

It is to be seen whether Shinwari can have her date in Dhaka as Bangladesh are currently struggling against India. Despite a decent start with the bat, the Tigers have managed 256 for 8 at the end of their 50 overs.
