India secured a magnificent victory over New Zealand in Dharamshala to get their fifth consecutive win in the ICC World Cup 2023. It was yet another clinical performance from the main and blue as they shone with both bat and ball.
And after that, Team India's next assignment is England. The next match is on Sunday (October 29) in Lucknow, and in between is a long gap of seven days. Hence team management gave the team a day's break on their final day in Dharamshala.

And as the team players enjoyed the day off, the support staff had a day out. India head coach Rahul Dravid, batting coach Vikram Rathour and the other support staff took a trek to Triund on their final day in Dharamshala.
BCCI released a video on Wednesday which shows the support staff took the hilly journey from Mcleodganj to visit Triund.
Triund is a village sitting at the foothills of the Dhauladhar range. This takes around 4-6 hours and the 9 km trek is one of the most popular trek routes. The peak altitude of Triund is 2850 metres from sea level. It is situated in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh.
The majority of the support staff took the trek and enjoyed it. It was a hike amidst the jungle and the mountains and a great outing for the Indian team support staff. They spent time amid the breathtaking nature and Rahul Dravid also spoke from the spot.
"Once you come here, the views are breathtaking, spectacular. I mean, it's incredible, I think for the support staff to be able to come here. Unfortunately, you can't bring the boys out here because it's too risky walking on those stones," Rahul Dravid said.
Dravid also spoke of conserving nature as it is so that future generations can also enjoy nature. He wished his children could also have the trek one day and admitted it was a challenging trek.
Team India will be travelling to Lucknow on Wednesday (October 25) as they prepare for the English challenge up next. After five wins, they are sitting pretty on top of the table.
