The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Wednesday announced BookMyShow as the Ticketing Platform for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 which begins from October 5.
A series of warm-up matches will be played ahead of the main event which will kick off with defending champions England taking on New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 5.

The tournament will feature a total of 58 matches, including 10 warm-up fixtures, hosted across 12 prominent venues throughout the nation.
"In line with ensuring a seamless and comprehensive ticketing experience for fans, the sales process for this iconic tournament will be introduced in a series of carefully managed phases. The initial phase entails an exclusive 24-hour window designated exclusively for ICC's commercial partner, Mastercard," a BCCI release stated.
Mastercard users will have the opportunity to buy tickets for all India and non-India matches one day in advance. Mastercard users can buy tickets for all non-India matches from August 24, while for all India matches from August 29.
Other users can buy tickets for non-India matches from August 25. Commencement of India match tickets will begin from different dates for different venues. For example - Sale of tickets for India's match in Chennai against Australia will begin from August 31, 8:00 PM onwards.

Note: India will play a warm-up match against England in Guwahati on September 30. They will face Netherlands in their second and final warm-up match in Trivandram.
