World Cup: Ajnkya Rahane gets new shoes for stability and grip

Adelaide, Feb 5: India's batsman Ajinkya Rahane has got a new pair of cricket shoes for ICC World Cup 2015. According to him, these shoes will help in running between the wickets during the big tournament.

Rahane, who is one of the key batsmen for Team India in their title defence of World Cup, took to micro-blogging site Twitter to talk about his new shoes. (10 major changes at WC)

"Got my new Nike cricket shoes! These will give me the stability and grip I need while running between the wickets. #BleedBlue," Rahane tweeted today.

In another tweet, he posted a picture of himself checking one of the shoes. Rahane will be playing his first World Cup.

India will launch World Cup campaign against Pakistan in Adelaide on February 15, one day after the tournament begins. The final is in Melbourne on March 29.
