Mohammad Rizwan made his first outing in India a memorable one by slamming a scintillating hundred in the Pakistan versus New Zealand ICC World Cup 2023 warm-up match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad on Friday, September 29.
Walking in to bat at number four, Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam scripted Pakistan's comeback after they were reduced to 46/2 in 11.2 overs.

The 31-year-old did not show any nerves playing his first match in India and maintained a healthy strike rate throughout his innings which saw him score nine fours and two sixes.
On the fifth ball of the 40th over from Daryl Mitchell, Mohammad Rizwan played a pull shot through mid-wicket for a boundary which brought up his 93-ball hundred.
His partnership with Babar Azam for the third wicket accounted for 114. The duo laid a perfect foundation for the coming batters to post a high total on the board. Here is how fans reacted to Rizwan's hundred in Pakistan's warm-up match against New Zealand.
After Rizwan's departure, Sadu Shakeel played a blistering 53-ball knock for 74 runs (five fours and four sixes). Agha Salman and Shadab Khan also scored briskly to help Pakistan finish at 345/5 in 50 overs.
The Pakistan team arrived in India on Wednesday after a gap of seven years. They will play their second and final warm-up match against Australia at the same venue on October 3. The 1992 champions will kick off their campaign against Netherlands on October 6 in Hyderabad.
