The inaugural edition of the Women's Premier League (WPL) kicked off from March 4 with the match between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Gujarat Giants (GGT). The first few matches of the tournament have seen some intense clash between the bat and ball already.

Stars like Harmanpreet Kaur, Grace Harris, Shafali Verma and Meg Lanning have come up with superlative batting performances and cleared the boundary ropes with utmost ease. However, the bowlers - including one from an Associate nation - have also not been lagging far behind.
The first three matches saw two bowlers register a five-wicket haul. The informative article brings to you the top wicket-takers of the WPL 2023. The competition will witness a total of 20 league matches before an Eliminator on March 24 and the mega final on March 26.
