Delhi Capitals Women (DCW) defeated UP Warriorz by five wickets to top the league stage of the Women's Premier League (WPL) 2023 and qualify directly for the final.
Second-placed Mumbai India and third-place UP Warriorz will fight it out in the Eliminator on March 24 to qualify as the second finalists.
Delhi and Mumbai finished league stage with 12 points each but the former topped the 5-team standings due to superior Net Run Rate (NRR)
Delhi Capitals chased down the 139-run target with five wickets remaining on the fifth ball of the 18th overs. Delhi captain Meg Lanning top-scored for the team with 39 off 23 balls.
Earlier, despite Tahila McGrath's unbeaten 58 off 32, UP Warriorz could manage only 136 runs in 20 overs. Alice Capsey picked three wickets for Delhi.
