The auction list comprises 104 Indian players. Only nine of them have registered themselves under the base category of Rs 30 lakh. Amid all the sea of young and budding cricketers, there are three India Women veterans eyeing a stellar comeback with the WPL 2024.

Veda Krishnamurthy: The 31-year-old batter was part of the expert panel for broadcasters Sports18 and JioCinema in the inaugural season of the Women's Premier League (WPL 2023). This time around, the middle-order batter has placed herself under the base price of Rs 30 lakh.

The middle-order batter has been out of the Indian team since 2021. Krishnamurthy would be looking to make a statement with a rollicking WPL 2024 season, and is set to come with a plan. She represented India in 48 ODIs and 76 T20Is in which she has scored 875 runs at an average of 18.61.

Punam Raut: The top-order batter would be one of the key attractions in the WPL 2024. She is returning to action after a break and fans would also be excited to see the 34-year-old who has represented India in four Test matches, 73 ODIs and 35 T20Is.

Raut has scored 2299 runs in 73 ODIs at an average of 34.83. In 35 T20Is, Raut has scored 719 runs at an average of 27.65 and a strike rate of 92.17. Raut has registered herself under the base price of Rs 30 lakh.

Gouher Sultana: 35-year-old Gouher Sultana is another India Women star eyeing a stellar comeback. Sultana's last match for India Women came back in 2014.

The Hyderabad-born cricketer has represented India in 50 ODIs and 37 T20Is. She has 66 ODI wickets to her name at an average of 19.39. In T20Is, Gouher Sultana picked 29 wickets at an average of 26.27 and an economy rate of 5.73. Like Veda and Raut, Sultana has also placed herself under the Rs 30 lakh base price.
