The WPL 2024 auction has to be a road to recovery for Gujarat Giants, who finished at the bottom of the WPL table last season.

Gujarat Giants only managed two victories out of their 8 matches and had to take the base of the standings. But things can only get better for them and the Giants will be hopeful for a strong squad in the upcoming edition of the tournament.

WPL 2024 Auction: Gujarat Giants Purse and Squad Slots

Gujarat Giants have the biggest purse among all the teams in the WPL 2024 auction. They have INR 5.95 crores in their kitty. The Giants will also have to fill the most number of slots as they can add up to 10 players in their unit for the upcoming season, and 3 of them can be overseas players.

WPL 2024: Gujarat Giants Retained Players

GGT have only retained 8 players from their squad last season. They have kept Ashleigh Gardner, who was a stellar performer for them in the dubious season. Beth Mooney and Laura Wolvaardt are also retained. Indian star Harleen Deol was retained but Sushma Verma and Sabbineni Meghana were released.
