A total of 165 players have been shortlisted for the second edition of the Women's Premier League (WPL) player auction, which is set to be held in Mumbai on Saturday (December 9).
Royal Challengers Bangalore, Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Giants and UP Warriorz will be locked in bidding wars for several players on the auction day with a maximum of 30 slots including 9 overseas slots left to be filled.

Among the 165 players, 56 are capped, 15 are Associate nations players and 94 are uncapped players. And of the 165 cricketers, 105 have registered their names for a base price of Rs 10 Lakh.
Meanwhile the remaining 60 have a reserve price of either Rs 20 Lakhs, Rs 30 Lakhs, Rs 40 Lakhs or the highest value of Rs 50 Lakhs. Only two players come into the auction with the highest base price of Rs 50 Lakhs.
West Indies' Deandra Dottin and Australia's Kim Garth are the two players, who have registered themselves for the auction at the base price of Rs 50 Lakhs each, while four players have registered for a reserve price of Rs 40 Lakhs.
The released trio of Annabel Surtherland, Georgia Wareham and Shabnim Ismail as well as Amy Jones are the four players, who come into the auction at a base price of Rs 40 Lakhs.
Also, 4 players have registered their names at Rs 20 Lakhs base price, while the remaining 50 players come into the auction with a reserve price of Rs 30 Lakhs. Here is a look at the players list as per their reserve prices ahead of WPL 2024 auction:
