WPL 2024 Auction: India uncapped player Kashvee Gautam was bought by Gujarat Giants (GG) for a whopping amount of Rs 2 crore in the Women's Premier League (WPL) 2024 auction.
The 20-year-old name in the WPL 2024 auction triggered a bidding war between Gujarat Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) before UP Warriorz also jumped in to skyrocket Kashvee Gautam's price.

Gujarat Giants finally won the race in the end and managed to grab the services of Kashvee Gautam for a sum of Rs 2 crore. Gautam thanked the franchise for giving her the opportunity to play in the WPL.
"Very excited to be part of the WPL. Thanks to Gujarat Giants for giving me the opportunity," Kashvee Gautam said.
Kashvee Gautam is a right-arm fast bowler who was born in Chandigarh on April 28, 2003. She is the captain of Chandigarh Women's domestic team.
She has a ruptation to bowl superbly with the new ball. In an U-19 match in 2020, Kashvee picked all 10 wickets in a 50-over game and finished with figures of 4.5-1-12-10.
Kashvee Gautam has featured in the Women's T20 Challenge in 2020. She was recently part of the India Women A side which played against England in a 3-match T20 series. She picked three wickets in two matches at an average of 19.
