The Women's Premier League returns for season 2 in the form of WPL 2024, which is scheduled to be held across two venues from Friday (February 23) starting with the league phase and concluding with the final nearly a month later on March 17.
Five teams - Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Capitals, UP Warriorz and Gujarat Giants will battle for the coveted title as a total of 22 matches including the two playoff matches will be held this year.

Many star players will be competing in the tournament, organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Likewise some of the top names from women's cricket will be calling the matches alongside several former India cricketers.
Last year's commentator Kate Cross will be taking the field this year after landing a contract with RCB. So, who will join Natalie Germanos and Mel Jones in the commentators list for the second season of Women's Premier League?
