WPL 2024 schedule has been released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India, and the finalists from last year will rematch in the Women's Premier League season 2 opener on February 23.
Like the inaugural edition, five teams - Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Gujarat Giants and UP Warriorz - will battle for the title, starting with the double round-robin format with three teams heading into the WPL playoffs.

The WPL playoff will feature only two matches - the Eliminator on March 15 and the WPL Final on March 17. The second and third placed teams will lock horns in the eliminator to book a spot in the final against the first placed team.
A total of 22 matches across 24 days will be hosted in caravan format in two venues, starting with the first leg at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru followed by the second leg at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, which will also host the eliminator and the final.
In the season 2 opener, champions Mumbai Indians will face runners up Delhi Capitals in a rematch from the inaugural edition season, while the second match will see Royal Challengers Bangalore take on UP Warriorz.
Gujarat Giants will play their first match of the season against Mumbai Indians on the third day of the season. All the matches will start at 7:30 PM IST. Unlike last season, there will be no double headers in this edition.
Each team will play in 8 league phase matches in double round-robin format before the top three based on the points table standings head into the playoffs. Here is a look at the full schedule of WPL 2024:
