WPL 2024 Squads: RCB, MI, UPW, DC, GG Players List, Captain & Coaches For Women’s Premier League Season 2

The second edition of the Women's Premier League - WPL 2024 is all set to start on Friday (February 23) with a rematch from last season's final that will see defending champions Mumbai Indians take on runners up Delhi Capitals.

Like the first season of WPL, the second edition will also see five teams battle in double round-robin format in the league stage with the top three teams heading into the playoffs - Eliminator and the Final.

Unlike the IPL, WPL will have a two matches in the playoffs. The table-topper will move directly to the final, while the second and third-placed teams will fight for a summit clash berth in the Eliminator.

The five teams, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Mumbai Indians (MI), Delhi Capitals (DC), Gujarat Giants (GG) and UP Warriorz (UPW) will face each other twice in the league phase which will be held across two venues in two cities this year.

The first phase from February 23 to March 4 will be staged in Bengaluru at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium and then the action will shift to Delhi for the second phase from March 5 to 17. Arun Jaitley Stadium will stage the matches, including the playoffs, in Delhi.

As the teams assemble for the start of the season, all teams have announced their squads, captains and head coaches for WPL 2024. All the teams have retained their skippers, while some have done changes to their coaching staff.

RCB and GG made changes to their head coach with Luke Williams and Michael Kling coming in to the respective franchises to replace Ben Sawyer and Rachel Haynes. UPW also have brought in a new fielding coach. Here is a look at the WPL 2024 squads, captains and coaching staff of all 5 teams:
