The Women's Premier League 2025 auction took place in Bengaluru on Sunday (December 15) as the five franchises completed their squads for the upcoming season.
19 players were bought at the auction as the franchises filled up their squads with the gaps they had after the released players ahead of the auction.

Simran Shaikh was the most expensive player at the auction as Gujarat Giants snapped her for a whopping Rs 1.9 crore. Another big signing was Deandra Dottin, and the veteran West Indies star will also play for Gujarat Giants after her Rs 1.7 crore acquisition.
India U19 star and 16-year-old prodigy G Kamalini was also a massive buy as the teenager was sold to Mumbai Indians for a whopping Rs 1.6 crore. The youngster from Tamil Nadu is the most expensive uncapped player in WPL auction this year.
RCB Women, MI Women, DC Women and Gujarat Giants all signed four players each, while UP Warriorz roped in three players. The Gujarat Giants spent the most money in the auction as they splashed Rs 4 crore.
