The third season of the Women's Premier League – WPL 2025 is upon us starting with the league phase in Vadodara from Friday (February 14) followed by action in Bengaluru, Lucknow and finally Mumbai, where the season will conclude with the title clash on March 15.
Like the previous two seasons, WPL 2025 will also see five teams compete for the coveted title in double round-robin matches with the table topper at the end of the league stage earning a direct entry to the final.

The second and third placed teams, meanwhile, will play in the solitary Eliminator to book the other final spot. The league stage takes place from February 14 to March 11, while the eliminator takes place on March 13 and the final on March 15.
A total of 22 matches will played over the next 30 days across four venues – Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara, M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, BRSABV Ekana Stadium in Lucknow and CCI Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.
Like the first two editions, Mumbai Indians, Lucknow Warriorz, Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore will be the five teams competing in the third season of the WPL.
The tournament will see top players from the Indian women's team as well as overseas teams take to the field. Smriti Mandhana, Harmanpreet Kaur, Deepti Sharma, Ellyse Perry and Ash Gardner are among the star names that will play for different teams.

The Women’s Premier League season 3 kicks off with the league phase on Friday (February 14) in Vadodara before the action shifts to Bengaluru from February 21, and Lucknow from March 4, and finally for the final leg, including the playoffs from March 10.
WPL season 3 will follow last season’s format of only one match staged on all the scheduled days with the match starting at 7:30 PM IST / 2 PM GMT / 4 PM SAST / 10 PM AWST / 1 AM AEDT (Next Day) / 3 AM NZDT (Next Day).
Viacom18 had won the broadcast rights for WPL in India, but after Disney Star and Jio merger, the games will now be shown on Star Sports Network in the country via Jio Hotstar (formerly Disney+ Hotstar) and Star Sports 1 channels.
Sky Sports will televise and stream games in the UK, while Fox Cricket will telecast the games in Australia, and Sky Sport will show the matches in New Zealand. Willow TV will show the matches in USA and Canada. SuperSport will show the matches in South Africa. Here is the list:
