Kotambi Stadium, also known as the Baroda Cricket Association Stadium (BCA Stadium) or the Vadodara International Cricket Stadium, will host the first phase of the third edition of the Women’s Premier League – WPL 2025, starting from Friday (February 14).
The BCA Stadium is a relatively new cricket stadium located in Kotambi, on the outskirts of Vadodara, Gujarat. The venue has hosted only three matches so far in One Day International (also known as 50-over) format.

The Kotambi stadium was officially opened on December 22, 2024, with a Women's One Day International (WODI) series between India and the West Indies. The two sides played three One Dayers at the venue, where India emerged 3-0 victors in the series.
And now for the first time the venue will be home for T20 matches as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara as one of the four venues for WPL 2025.
BCA stadium in Vadodara will host 6 matches this season from February 14 to February 19 with last season’s Champions playing the opener as Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) take on the hosts of the venue – Gujarat Giants (GG).
The fixture between Delhi Capitals (DC) and UP Warriorz (UPW) will be the final league match at the venue. Now, we take a look at the Vadodara Kotambi Stadium information, women's matches stats and records at the venue ahead of WPL 2025:
With not many T20 matches staged at the venue, there is not much data availble with regards to stats or how the wickets have behaved in the new stadium. However, based on the three ODIs and one WPL match played here, there is good clarity that the pitch will favour batters like most venues across the country.
Almost entering the Indian summer, the day will see the temperature rising up from 33°C to 34°C during the next week in Vadodara, but is expected to get cooler in the nights with temperature reducing to as low as 17°C to 20°C. There is no threat of rain on any day, but dew may be an issue.
