"Shree Charani has had an outstanding 12 months, going from her debut with Delhi Capitals to returning to them after just a year. In between, she earned an India cap and won a World Cup. This ₹1.3 crore price tag is a fitting reward for her hard work and consistency. As a skilled bowler, she's earned this performance-driven valuation. She deserves every bit of it, and while it's a great start, I wish her an exceptional journey ahead," Chopra said on Jio Hotstar show.

Shree Charani is expected to play a key part for the Capitals in the upcoming WPL season, which has other India stars such as Jemimah Rodrigues, Shafali Verma.
