WPL 2027 Full Squads: Complete Players List of All 5 Teams After Women's Premier League Auction

The Women's Premier League (WPL) 2027 auction in Kochi on Wednesday, October 28, saw franchises make strategic additions ahead of the fifth season, with Australian all-rounder Sophie Molineux emerging as the biggest signing at ₹1.10 crore.

UP Warriorz won a bidding battle with Royal Challengers Bengaluru to secure Molineux, who previously played a key role in RCB's 2024 title-winning campaign.

The franchise also brought back Grace Harris for ₹30 lakh and signed India all-rounders Sneh Rana and wicketkeeper Sushma Verma for ₹30 lakh each. Asha Sobhana, Kathryn Bryce, Manali Dakshini and Sahana Pawar were among their other additions.

Delhi Capitals made one of the auction's notable moves by signing batter Kiran Navgire for ₹75 lakh after competing with Mumbai Indians. They also added spinner Kirstie Gordon and all-rounders Uma Kashvi and Nazma Khan for ₹10 lakh each.

Gujarat Giants secured India batter G. Kamalini for ₹40 lakh and Ireland all-rounder Orla Prendergast for ₹30 lakh, alongside uncapped all-rounder Samaira Raghav for ₹10 lakh.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru added all-rounders Jess Jonassen and Chloe Tryon for ₹40 lakh and ₹30 lakh respectively, while batter Tejal Hasabnis also joined for ₹30 lakh. Vrinda Dinesh completed their listed acquisitions at ₹10 lakh.

Defending champions RCB focused on selective reinforcements, while Mumbai Indians added several lower-priced Indian prospects, including Shweta Sehrawat, Sanika Chalke, Disha Kasat, Latika Inamdar, Akshita Bhagat and Bharti Rawal.

The auction also produced surprises, with experienced names such as Sophia Dunkley and Chamari Athapaththu going unsold. The new signings will now prepare for the WPL 2027 season, scheduled from January 14 to February 7.
