The platform for the third edition of the Women's Premier League will be set at the WPL Auction 2025, which takes place in Bengaluru, where all five teams will look to add to their squads for the upcoming season.
Having already retained majority of their squad from the 2024 season, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Giants and UP Warriorz will be locked in bidding wars to fill in the remaining slots for their respective teams.

A total of 124 players will go under the hammer, including 95 Indian players and 29 overseas players. Notably, most players in this auction will be uncapped, as the Indian players' list features 85 uncapped players, while the overseas players' list features eight.
However, with only 19 slots keft to fill across five teams, it will be interesting to see which all players will find a new home during the bidding process in Bengaluru on Sunday (December 15). All teams except UP Warriorz will have four slots remaining.
Despite it being a mini auction, there will be some big names available in the player pool with the likes of Heather Knight, Sneh Rana and Deandra Dottin among the international stars entering the auction. Ahead of the WPL 2025 auction, here is a look at the timing, telecast and live streaming details:
