WTC Final 2023: Australia declared their first innings at 270/8 to set a 444-run target for India to win the World Test Championship final (WTC Final) 2023.
After Australia resumed at their overnight score of 123/4, India managed to get two quick wickets to reduce Australia to 167/6, however, a seventh-wicket partnership for 93 runs between Alex Carey (66*) and Mitchell Starc (41) ensured that a mammoth target is set for Rohit Sharma's men.

Pat Cummins' side had piled up 469 runs in the first innings and then bundled out India for 296 to take a 173-run lead. A target this big has never been chased in the history of Test cricket. But 400-plus sun targets have been chased four times. Let's have a look at highest successful run chased in Test cricket.
