India will clash against Australia in the all-important World Test Championship Final 2023 which starts from Wednesday (June 7) at the Oval in London.
The two teams finished with the top two places of the WTC 2021-23 cycle and are up against each other for the summit clash. Australia are playing their first WTC Final, whereas India played the inaugural final in 2021 but lost the match against New Zealand.

India's search for an elusive ICC title can come to an end if they can topple the Aussies. The onus will be on India for their previous outing in the WTC Final back in 2021, where they lost against the Blackcaps. Rohit Sharma and his men would be gaining confidence from their recent Test series win over Australia, but conditions will be different this time around.
Australia, on the other hand, have played decent Test cricket throughout the 2021-23 cycle and would be hoping to add the ICC Test Mace to complete the winning tally of all ICC tournaments. The effervescent side under Pat Cummins haven't done well against India in recent times, and would be loving to end their poor streak with a win.
It will be a battle between the Indian batters and Aussie pacers. With an elite attack in their ranks, the Australian pace bowlers can rattle India, hence the batters will have to play at their best to grind out a result. Indian spinners Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja played a huge part in the recent BGT, but the conditions in England may not be that magnanimous for them.
Given the circumstances and the squad balance, it can be sufficed that Australia have a much more settled squad than India. India's injury woes can trouble them and we predict Australia will come out victorious in the upcoming WTC Final.
But given the recent record of India against the Aussies, don't be surprised if Rohit Sharma holds the ICC Test Mace at the end of the grand final.
